Happy Valentine's ...

Hi everyone, I hope you are still feeling the love that surrounds you even thou the V-day has passed. I for one feel the love year round so I personally don't make a big deal of the V-day. But I do love what is represents and love all the goodies that are available to help you express yourself to that special someone :-)

My project this week is a Heart Shape box that I created from scratch meaning from the ground up lol... the fussy part were the sides and I must figure out an easier way of creating the sides! But with all said and done I totally love how it turned out, I am so in love with this box!!!!! My hubby thinks I should make them for sale!!! hummm maybe when I figure out an easier way lol... This box measures 8" across x 6 1/2" long x 2 3/4" high.

Isn't it GORGEOUS!?!?! I was inspired by my friend Ivana C color choices, she loves to use soft colors in most of her project and now I find myself leaning toward the same :-) Thanks for the inspiration Ivana.
I used Diamond Stickles on these beautiful flowers and do you see that awesome glass heart shape pebble above the blue flower? It is very dimensional.
This key was originally black in color and I had to use several coat of the Martha Stewart Pearl finish paint to change it to this soft pink color. Also do you see that beautiful glass flower to the right of the key? Each petal is in the shape of a heart, lovely...
Here on the side of the box I line the side of the top lid with this gorgeous scalloped trim that I have been hoarding lol... and I got the inspiration for the flowers arrangements on top of the box from the beautiful flourish on the paper lining the side of the box.

Well, I sure hope you guys like my gorgeous Heart shape box. Leave a comment if you will, I'd love to hear what you think :-)

Valentine Cards

Hi beautiful people :-) Hope everyone is doing well... are you feeling what I am feeling? I feel the extra Love in the air and I say "extra" because we are always surrounded by Love.

My project share today well... just me practicing making cards lol and I do mean practice, I see so many amazing cards out there from talented ladies, that I can only hope that one day I would be bless with some of their talents :-) but in the mean time I'll keep practicing. So here they are and I had fun making them.

Sorry for the bad lighting I was having issues lol... For the first card I used Spellbinders Pendants In Spade diecut and stamp the sentiment from Inkadinkado "Hearts" Oval Wood Stamp Set, Martha Stewart Vintage Floral Punch around the page and a beautiful soft pink ribbon bow with my favorite handmade Fimo Clay Heart center that I painted with MS Pink Pearl paint.
Second card was made using DCWV 'The Black Currant" paper stack I love it! Spellbinders Label eighteen to house my sentiment from Inkadinkado 'An Affair of the heart' & 'Hearts and Love' Stamp sets and i also painted inside the stamp heart with pink perfect pearl. Of course my Fimo Clay hearts painted with perfect pearl and a black tulle bow.
For the last card, I used papers from the same DCWV except for the red cardstock. I stamp and embossed the white Heart sentiment which is from Inkadinkado "Love Letters" Stamp set and fussy cut it. Flourishes are from Sizzix, red border and design paper edge was made with Spellbinders "In Spades" dies and I love the three little red heart brads on the side.

Well those are my cards, I hope you like them. Let me know what you think :-)
