Ornate Plaque Decor

Hello :-)

I am here to share with you my project for Where Ideas Bloom. I have altered this beautiful Ornate Board Plaque from the store. First I gesso it then paint it with white paint and used Dusty Concord and Vintage photo distress inks on the edges. I did a lot of fussy cutting of some flowers and added
Purple Bud and Midnight Black Bud Stamens as well as Purple Flower Sequins to the flower cluster.

Thank you for visiting today :-)

Coin Envelope Mini Album

Hello everyone ;-)

I'm here today to share with you my project for Where Ideas Bloom. It's a quick and easy gift, this one can be used as stocking fillers... just an idea :-)

I recycled one continuous piece of cereal box and scored it for the front, back and closer of this little mini. The pages are made using the Floral Envelopes and all you do is adhere them together using Sookwang double sided tape going down the center in the back of each envelopes. By adhering in the center and NOT on the edges, you give the envelopes room to grow with pictures on the tags (inside each envelopes) and extra memorabilia. The last one will adhere to the inside of your back cover.

Of course I decorated the outside using Vintage Pink Lilac flowers and Sequins from the store.

Thanks for visiting me today :-)

Season's Greetings Christmas Card

Hi everyone :-)

I would like to share a winter scene Christmas card that I made for Where Ideas Bloom using the same Spellbinders die I use last week on my handmade ornament. This time I used the whole diecut and of course products from the shop like these floral sprayssequins and sookwang tape

FYI - to make intricate die cuts dimensional, just die cut another layer from fun foam - it cuts like butter even thin dies can cut it. It might not look like its cut all the way through but it did... just push out the cut pieces with your fingers :-)

"Use Your Stamps Monday" #19

Hello friends ;-)

Yes the day is almost gone but I didn't have time to do this post earlier... better late than never right?

"Use Your Stamps Monday" an ongoing monthly challenge I've created to get us to use our stamps more and you can find out how to play along HERE

So I was in the mood to alter boxes and decided to use my stamp images on plain old brown wrapping or packaging paper - yup lol... I love how they turned out!

Here you can see I ink the edge of the brown paper so it stands out from the raw wood, which I love!
