Box Pop Up Card

It's my turn on Where Ideas Bloom blog...

Today I'd like to share my very first Box Pop Up Card and I have to say it was easy and fun to create! 

I created a garden scenery which was easy to do with beautiful Forget Me Not and Pink Flower Spray from the store. Of course to adhere my pretty paper to my bard base I used double sided Sookwang Tape. 

The large paper flowers were cut out from the DCWV Midnight Berry paper pad which I also used for my entire card.

School Projects, Home Work...

Good morning :-)

Today I'm sharing my DT project for Where Ideas Bloom.

So in order to keep things in order (ha) I altered a memo holder to suit our needs (my son and I) he's getting more and more homework and projects... as to make sure we don't forget what's due when, we have a checklist/memo station - so to speak. 

This holder has a space for a photo but we won't be using it for that... checklist will be in it's place. To make it a little whimsy/fun I've added this cute Apple Rug Rat and Wooden Glasses which I both colored with copics markers.

Altered Notebook w/ Bookmark

Hello dear friends :-)

Sharing my DT project for Where Ideas Bloom.
Today I'm sharing my altered mini notebook that I will be using to store crafty friends addresses. I've used pretty designer papers, Metal Pink String Sequins, Wooden Eyeglasses, Pencil Bookmark and Forget Me Not flowers. I colored the pencil using copics markers and added glitter paint to both wooden pencil and glasses. I think it turned out so pretty :-)

For today since I'm still in the Fall/Autumn mood, I've created a mini album for a friend using Spellbinders "Donna Salazar Creative Booklets" dies and cereal boxes (we all know how I love recycling) and of course some stamps... focal stamp used Sparkle N Sprinkle "Pilgrim Thanksgiving".

Life is a Cup of Tea

Good morning everyone :-) 

It's my turn on Where Ideas Bloom blog... 

I altered this lovely Tea inspired MDF Wood Frame (coming soon to store) and found this great sentiment that I cut out from "The Garden Tea Party Collection from DCWV" as well as all the other fussy cut images. I also add some of the Orange Tone flowers that I love to make dimensional by pushing in the center of the top layer and letting the petals turn up naturally.

Happy Labor Day to my U.S. and Canadian friends :-)

Usually I create two cards, one on the clean and simply with minimal to no dimension and the other with more layering and lots of dimensions (which I love! haha).

 

My first time playing with Gorguss girls stamps and copics... absolutely love them and will be practicing so much more!

Just a little note...

Good morning :-) 

Today I'd like to share a lovely card I made for a friend using the products from Where Ideas Bloom. The focal on this card is the beautiful MDF Wood Medallion that I lightly gesso and then heat embossed to give it that shine. I've also used Forget Me Not flowers to add to my bow and to adhere all layers I used Sookwang Double Sided Tape.

Look at the shimmer on this bow!!!
