Now for my card  :-)
I have always enjoyed making special folds card when I can and for this one I chose the center step fold and as you can see I have used the Flamingo Bay #512P6 stamp set, it remind of when I first saw "Pink" Flamingo two years ago in California... I've never seen a Flamingo before and a "Pink" one!!! Pretty awesome!

Here we go:

  • I layered my mat using pink and blue card stock and embossing the blue with Anna Griffins embossing folder, rubbing green ink using my finger on the embossed designs. Then I used gesso and my fingers to create a clouds scene on the blue card stock, giving the illusion of the stamp image continuing.
  • I colored my image using Prisma color Pencils, added Crystal Ice glitters to the wings of the Flamingo, the petals of the Lotus flowers, pink butterfly on my sentiment and the ripples in the water. For the Lotus flower center I used Carnation glitters, Evening Glow for the sun and for the butterflies and dragon fly Champagne. I add a touch of glossy accents to the eyes of the Flamingo :-)
  • Next I fussy cut both edges of the stamp image to bring some interest to the grass in the scene. Also colored an extra set of Flamingos and fussy cut them and pop them up using 3D Foam Squares - Variety Pack White  so two flamingos are placed in the front of the card one on the left and other on the right, the third one placed at back left panel so when the card is displayed he looks further away in the background.
  • For my sentiment I used a ticket punch and added a tiny butterfly.
  • Inside I used Spellbinders die labels two and fussy cut one of the Flamingo.
I hope you enjoyed my card and looking forward to seeing you all over at the SNS Creative Challenges.

Thanks for stopping by :-)

Blogger changes to "Follow/Join this Site" button...

Hi my lovelies :-)

Ok, I know by now I am not the only that notice the change (an annoying one at that) with the "Join this site" button that you click to follow a blog you have interest in... so I was on my friend's/Design Team mate for Sparkle N Sprinkle page her name is Donna and she has found the solution to the problem (she's smart and resourceful) here is her post in detail if you are a visual learner on how to go about following your new blog of interest :-)

But basically after clicking the "Join this site" button, and the window pops up, on the right it'll give an error message saying "We are sorry... we are unable to handle your request at this time. Please try again later."  Aaah people there is no later! lol.. So, just ignore that and on the left bottom where it has the "Follow this blog" button... next to it has "more options" click on more options. This will then open another window which shows on the bottom left a gray "Follow" button, click it and you are done!

Please spread the word as I am thinking that there are many frustrated friends out there that wants to know "what's going on?!?!!" and also, trying 'back later' as Blogger suggested (which we know is not happening).

Ok my lovelies talk to you soon :-) and thanks to Donna for preventing some pulling of  hair etc. in frustration LOL...

A very Blingy and Sparkly Tea Party

Hi lovelies :-)

I forgot to share with you all my Guest Design Team project for NatashaScrapbooKorner on Zibbet. We were to design using the beautiful products in her store and the theme was "Bling Petals to the Metals, Tea Party Event". Well the bling was right up my alley lol... I decided to create an actual tea party setting with Tea Pot, Tea Cups and of course Cake! She knew purple was one of my fav color so she sent lots of purple love :-)

The frosting on the cake was made using Prima Stencil and "Spackling" used in construction lol.. and sprinkle lots of glitters yum!

All the purple embellishments, bling trims, crochet trims, doilies, bling, cake slice die cut, flowers, sprays, berries spray, pearl embellishments, seam binding, tulle mesh, Peacock and brooches can be found in her store.

I hope you have enjoyed my Tea party setting and a slice of "fat free" cake :-0

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend :-)

Very Parisian Eiffel Tower - Cynthialoowho DT

Hi bloggers :-)

Ok, please forgive me I accidently press the wrong button and my previous post deleted :-( So I got to redo it! Agh!!! Anyhoo feel free to LOL at my booboo...

I have created my first DT project for Cythialoowho, she is a very talented, creative and think outside the box person. Cynthia has an array of different Templates that you can use to create 3D Projects, Mini Storage and Mini Albums. They are all printable on 8 1/2 x 11 papers and easy to put together using the instructions she provided.

So I created a 3D home decor...

From top of the huge bling to bottom measures 12inches tall.

So it's made out of chipboard and I used is the DCWV "Black Currant" one 12 x 12 sheet of paper. Dainty black lace to trim the edges and also rhinestone trim, the hot pink sequence and bead trim is actually a Photo stand/shelf very dimensional. The clock was cut off using a stamp and dies set from G45 and Sizzix. The white flowers and butterflies are mental filigree that I painted with gesso then add glitters in the center. Tim Holtz swirls die cut are off on each side within the flower clusters.

So check out Cynthia's Template on her site and have some fun playing with chipboards :-)

Thanks for stopping by "again" lol...
